Why "Shaggy Cow"? The story behind the name.
We needed to rebrand, and after tossing around a bucket full of ideas, one friend suggested something creative — a nod to our love of Highland cows. We laughed a lot. But nothing else stuck. So we looked into what makes Highland cows great, and as it turns out, they're a pretty perfect fit:
“Some of their great qualities include their ability to thrive in harsh weather conditions, their low maintenance requirements, their efficiency in converting rough forage into meat, and their adaptability to different environments.”
Well, that just seems to fit us to a T: we thrive, we don’t ask more of you than we need, we convert your cluster of info into helpful data [the meat of it all!], and we adapt. We adapt very well. Plus we are a little creative and catchy! And since it was like the strongest earworm ever and wouldn’t leave us alone, it stuck, and here we are! You will still find us at all the same places [web, social, email] it will all now point to the new name. And if you’re new here, we look forward to giving you a Shaggy Cow welcome!
